Compelling science communication is an essential skill to share knowledge and inspire change. This autumn, CERN and FameLab are asking participants from all over the world to produce and upload short videos that explain physics to a general audience, in an engaging way – what this looks like is up to you! The competition is intended for you to explore topics in physics and share your findings.
This event celebrates the 2025 FameLab International Finals, a competition produced by Cheltenham Festivals, and hosted at CERN this year.
Prizes
The best videos will be ranked by a group of physicists and science communicators at CERN, based on the FameLab criteria of Content, Clarity, and Charisma. Participants who produce good submissions will have their videos shared by CERN.
The creators of the top 10 videos will have the exciting opportunity to meet a scientist at CERN. The top 3 will receive a kit to build their own cloud chamber.
